Periscope Live Video Streaming App Reviews

Not loading correctly and always crashes. HELP!

Ive tried using other live video broadcasting apps. This app is still by far the best, it rarely ever freezes the video, easy to navigate and just plain fun and easy to use.

Up stream to 2 Mbit/s on iPhone 4S

Great app.. the only problem is that there should be a way to appeal to someone if you get comments blocked by trolls. If you write a comment even if its just "hey" trolls in the room can report it and keep on reporting til you cant comment. Please fix this and then Ill give u five stars.

Great app.

A unique tool with no paralel

The navigation is inexcusably bad. You often cant even see the time marker and videos start over after being paused.

(up Periscope) ...and Periscope is a big reason why!!! (others currently contribute, too like Lee Camp, Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, Facebook and a long list of comedians) Love lOve loVe lovE this program!!! I dont think Ill ever need to waste waste dirty petroleum and Earths resources on plane travel to visit all my global next door neighbors...tankQ sisters and bros... (down Periscope)

Its a live platform that you can connect with people all over the world and interact with that you dont even have to be friends or follow. Its like having your own TV show!

This is a nice app. Signal fails sometimes but it picks up where it left off. Broadcasts in general are pretty clear.

Notifications not works if i change notification periscope settings in ios to hide all and return to show all. Please test all notification settings for correct works.

Very entertaining app but the videos keep cutting off or getting stuck although it has improved a lot thank you

I clicked to update this app, but it just takes forever and ever and ever to upload. In fact, it does not even begin to upload. I have never had this happen before. Screw this!

So I used to love this app a lot. It has great picture quality, low memory usage, automatic cache cleaning and great connectivity. Its simple, clean and not hectic like the other apps. Ive switched to the PEEKS app recently because of the horrendous moderating system on periscope. So many of my friends/followers get their accounts banned without warning and that ban lasts several weeks before people get their accounts back. Women have it really tough. A guy can expose himself and get away with it but a woman (if shes wearing loose clothing or accidentally has a wardrobe slip), gets her account banned for several weeks. Secondly, women in regions like the Middle East (mostly Turkish) and Eastern Europe (mostly Russian), have purposefully explicit videos and the ban hammer doesnt come crashing down like it does with people in the States. Sometimes nothing happens at all to those people broadcasting overseas! But in the US, bam, you look "sexy" but classy and get your account locked. Its insulting. Switched to Peeks. Never regretted it.

I have the iPad 3 which I can even use photoshop, iMovie and such but this is the only app that is killing my iPad. Frozes, black screen only sound, comments killing CPU in crowded broadcasts. I wont buy a new tablet just for a badly reverse optimized app

Watching live streams from around the world is great. This app is fairly easy to use, and can take up a lot of time:). So yes, I enjoy it. But little improvements could be made easily, not to mention a bug I currently have. After yesterdays update, I cant change the audience, so Im stuck with "public" only. Reading the reviews, I can tell Im not alone on this, it happened to another at least 12 days ago. Reinstalling doesnt fix it, so the apps usefulness has taken a serious and frustrating blow. I havent received a reply of any kind from the support email. Also while Im here, I wish I didnt have to choose "recent" from the "list" view every time I open the app. It remembers other options, why not this one? And finally, adding the phone number to the settings needs to be done pronto. That way it can be "changed". If I ever change my phone # and have to reinstall the app, Im screwed. You cant log back in without a voice call or SMS sent. If you put in different phone, you get a new profile, thus starting over with the hearts, followers, and who your following. This really should be addressed, as it seems pretty ridiculous to me. Maybe focus on these issues, and less on the political statements, Im thinking.

The quality in these streams are really bad I wouldnt recommend this app to anyone. Just use dailymotion
